On December 4th, 2019, EA Armament & Surveillance Technologies (Nigeria) (dba “EA Tech”) displayed their newest lines of body armor designed for the Nigeria military.
Their BRAV Plate Model 13 weighed in at 3.2kg, and scored 100% against both small arms and rifles; BRAV Plate Model 14 weighed in at 3.1kg and scored 50% overall; and the most surprising Model 15, weighing just 1kg, also scored 50% against small arms fire.
“We are really proud of what we have been able to achieve locally, using only local materials and local labor,” declared the company Chairman, Mr. Adebayo Idowu.

The company intends to begin supplying the Nigerian armed forces with these advanced products before the end of first quarter 2020, while they continue to further develop even lighter and more flexible products to ensure the safety and success of our troops in the field.
